Georgetown Tx Real Estate good place to Retire

This just out - Georgetown Texas is one of the best places to Retire. Hmmmm. Sounds good. I found this interesting because I sell alot of homes in Georgetown... Sun City in particular. According to U. S. News, the median home price is $175,473. I can believe that being that my clients come from all over the US, sold their homes and come to "retire" in Georgetown/Sun City. They usually pay cash, they usually play golf or are extremely active, have lots of disposable cash and have a busier schedule than mine. Retire - HA I laugh.
It appears they like the temps, they appreciate the parkland/greenspaces, the 12 public golf courses, the 10 private golf courses, the 10 libraries in the county, 48 clinics in the county, 5 hospitals with more coming and 30 eldercare facilities in the county....They go in droves to restaurants, movies, the Red Poppy Days festival, the lake, etc. Good place to hang I'd say.
